Katalon is a modern, comprehensive quality management platform that enables software teams to deliver world-class customer experiences faster.

My work touches all parts of the platform as a former Lead Product Designer in 2021 and Senior Product Designer from 9/2022 to 6/2024. Most notably, I led the redesign of Katalon Recorder in Q3/2021 and the navigation redesign in Katalon Admin to streamline the user management, projects, and license management activities.

The Test Management platform includes a separated admin system designed for efficient management of organizations, users, projects, subscriptions, and more.

The navigation was redesigned to improve user experience, boost engagement, and reduce customer support needs. The new navigation is more intuitive and adapts to detailed permission settings.

Projects Management redesign in Admin systemLink to section

The cumbersome user flow for accessing projects in the Administration system frustrated many customers, leading to an increased churn rate. To address this, the feature was redesigned along with the navigation overhaul, streamlining the experience for managing and accessing project details.

Katalon TestOps

Visual Test Runs powered by AI on Katalon TestOpsLink to section

Visual testing helps testers to evaluate the UI of the application and compares that output against the results expected by designers. This has helped many customers to continously test their UI ensuring the production matchs with the design mockups.

This is an essential function of a test management software which helps testers to manage their test cases and test collections (test suites) in testing life cycles. The design leverages Tree folder and Data table to help testers navigate and explore easily.
